I am writing an autobiography. I spent most of my life in the prison systems across Canada. Lots of time between 1990-1996 in the old Oakalla prison and BCCW. Then I moved to Quebec in 2003 where I first heard of Robert Pickton, I knew most of the women on the missing women poster beause of my time inside. My best friend Teressa Triff from back in the day has still not been found.
In my book, I speak about the women and I get chills, you are right they are Mothers’ daughters, sisters, grandmothers. I have continued to be very attached to the feeling and sadness these women live every day of their lives. I love your photos of them, their beauty shines through.
Thanks for sharing and caring enough about these women. The photos are beautiful!
